International Training Centre in Astronomy under the auspices of UNESCO (ITCA) by NARIT will be organising a conference called “Southeast Asia Planetarium, Education and Outreach 2024 (SEA-PEO 2024)” at the Princess Sirindhorn AstroPark, NARIT HQ in Chiang Mai, Thailand in conjunction with the 14th SEAAN Meeting, during 25-28 November 2024.
The SEA-PEO 2024 is the first conference in the Southeast Asia region that aims to bring together planetarium operators, educators, and astronomy outreach personnel to exchange and share their experience and advancement in improving how we can better interact with the public.
The call for application is now open for the following topics;
- Engaging the Public via Planetariums
- Interdisciplinary Astronomy
- Astronomy Education
- Communicating Astronomy with the Public
- Dark and Quiet Sky
- Accessibility, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in Astronomy Communication
We invite submission of oral and poster abstracts from all participants with all backgrounds to share your passion for astronomy!
